In this dynamic,
intensive DVD of a live seminar, recorded in June 2005 presented
by Chris Brigham, MD and Phil Walker, JD, two of the nation’s leading
experts on the AMA Guides and the California Permanent Disability Rating
Schedule provide advanced training on the use of the Guides.
This seminar includes a brief review of the basics, and a demonstration
of musculoskeletal impairment ratings through multiple case examples.
Physical examination techniques also are demonstrated. Case examples are
explored through use of the Guides in rating illness impairment, such as
cardiovascular and pulmonary disease, hearing loss, and other medical
conditions, and the rating of psychiatric impairment by using the GAF.
